The taste of victory

" Zwycięstwa smak " is the second full-length album by the Offensywa band. After the undoubted success of their premiere album "Jest jak jest" released in 2012, which opened the gates for the young band to perform at the biggest festivals in the country (Przystanek Woodstock – 2012, 2013, 2014, Jarocin Festival 2014), the band, after a two-and-a-half-year break, returns with new, interesting material.


The album features 11 original compositions, crafted in a post-punk style with a touch of classic rock 'n' roll. All lyrics are written in Polish. The songs' subject matter remains standard—the lyrics comment on everyday reality, addressing various issues and problems, yet never leaving the listener without a concrete solution or alternative solutions. Sometimes they express rebellion against the established order, while other times they explain how to find one's place and inner peace within this reality.

"Victory Taste" is a breath of fresh air, the quintessence of youth and classic punk rock in a modern form. Without a doubt, this is an album that will appeal to even the most discerning listener – from energetic rock, through melodic post-Beatel songs, to a slightly lighter, self-examination-inducing ballad.
