When.In.Maine When.In.Maine

The new album presents a more assertive sound than the band's previous releases. Its sound draws inspiration not only from more intense music but also from grunge, a musical genre that bandleader and main composer Wojciech Wypych was fascinated by during his time in the United States.

The album features 12 new, original tracks produced by Dawid Gorgolewski. The digital version also includes three versions of the songs, produced by renowned producers: Chris Rakestraw
(Megadeth, Deftones, Danzig), Dave Dominguez (Papa Roach, Staind, Guns'N'Roses, 2Pac) and Marshall Gallagher (leader of Teenage Wrist).

Additional tracks were mastered by Sławek Papis at Case Studio. The album features compositions inspired by the post-grunge and nu metal genres, such as "Proved Me Wrong," "Stained," and "Stole My Memories," as well as hard rock tracks like "Ditched" and "Sores," ballads like "Breadcrumbs" and the title track "When in Maine," and the melodic "Midlife Crisis" and "Maybe Tonight."

The album was announced by eleven singles, containing not only the songs that would eventually appear on the album, but also remixes of several tracks and two completely new songs not included on the album. The first of these was "C Song", performed partly in
Danish, in a duet with the Danish singer Annerup, and the second one "Option", in which the American artist Amélie Swann, known as the Philadelphia dark princess of pop, made a guest appearance.

The album is currently being promoted by its twelfth single, "When in Maine," which is accompanied by a music video with a dark, Maine-themed feel. This follow-up builds on the themes of the videos for "Ditched" and "Option," serving as a culmination and explanation of the events of the previous releases.

The band considers this video their favorite and most outstanding of their previous releases. The video was produced by Ada Nikelewska, who is not only a talented creator, director, and producer, but also an outstanding vocalist and guitarist – a member of the band When.In.Maine.

The recordings were made by Wojciech Wypych (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Jarosław 'Jerry' Szybowski (bass guitar) and American drummer Darrell Nutt, known for his work with members of the bands ACDC and Goo Goo Dolls.
