We Don't Like Mondays

Listeners in our country do not need to be introduced to figures such as the world-famous film composer
Wojciech Kilar, master of jazz themes in TV series Jerzy Duduś Matuszkiewicz, king of song Seweryn
Krajewski, and blues legend Tadeusz Nalepa. And we have a few other great artists here. You can find them here
instrumental versions, played on two guitars with double bass accompaniment and with guest participation
accordion. The album's sound material is in the style of Django Reinhardt's music, which has never been
Poland, but his work and unique guitar playing are still in our heads and hearts.

MAREK & JACEK CRAZY RHYTHM
A Polish gypsy-jazz band founded by two Krakow guitarists, Jacek Serczyk and Marek Piątek, because about them
here we are talking about, they are one of the few guitarists in Poland who have professionally mastered playing the gypsy guitar, i.e.
Gypsy swing in the style of Django Reinhardt. The band's repertoire includes, in addition to the typical standards of the genre
we will also hear Polish songs - famous film melodies or hits by, among others, Andrzej Zaucha or Seweryn
Krajewski, as well as original compositions.
The musicians are part of the European and global trend of the revival of popularity of jazz manouche music.
They establish contacts with foreign artists, which has already resulted in joint performances with players such as
for example Romain Vuillemin, Giovanni Weiss, Filippo Dall'Asta, Robby Lakatos and Pippi Dimonte.
