Skankan Try To Feel It

This is the third album from the band Skankan. Following "Live 95" and "Skankan Ożywia Trupy," this is another album in the broadly defined ska genre, culminating in the band's many years of experience.

Several years of work on the material led to an evolution in the arrangements and sound of the compositions, resulting in an incredible blend of energy from an expansive brass section and an active rhythm section. Remaining true to the genre's Jamaican roots, the band consistently promotes joyful, danceable rhythms within their own ska-reggae-rock 'n' roll convention. This time, the group invited many esteemed musicians from the Sosnowiec reggae and ska scene to collaborate, as well as Howard Jackson, a Jamaican DJ, who contributed vocals to the recordings. The fourteen combinations are surprisingly energetic and leave no doubt why ska has enjoyed such immense popularity not only in Jamaica and the British Isles.
