The Thank God I'ma Woman project is the singer's second album, stylistically diverse yet highly cohesive. The material gradually shifts from jazz through sophisticated pop to a fascination with Brazilian music, showcasing primarily original compositions and interpretations of several jazz standards from years past. Alongside the music itself, the lyrics have become an equally important element, resulting from the singer's own research and that of other authors. Her unabashed affinity for communicative songwriting and traditional jazz based on classical instrumentation has resulted in compositions that straddle these genres, revealing an important lyrical message. The instrumental parts, played perfectly by leading jazz musicians in the country, create an exceptionally refined sound and artistic character for the project.
