TAPE FROM THE HOOD is another album from the skinny Dredd, this time firmly rooted in lush, banger sounds. It blends classic, sampled hip-hop aesthetics with drum and bass and jungle rhythms inspired by PlayStation 2-era game soundtracks. This cassette release in a limited box set harkens back to the turn of the millennium, paying homage to the cultural spirit of the era.

In addition to the album itself, the second side of the cassette contains songs that skinny dredd released in 2023 but did not appear on any of his previous albums, giving listeners the opportunity to listen to hidden gems.
