Peja and Slums Attack's iconic album "Szacunek ludzi ulicy" (Respect for Street People) (Fonografika 2006) was originally supposed to be reissued for the 10th anniversary of the album's release at the end of last year. Peja's sixth studio album, in addition to production by DJ. Decks supported by Magiera, LA, and Waco (the hits "Szacunek ludzi ulicy," "SLU 3 liters," "Duchowo moc" and "Panie"), includes compositions by Tabba ("Uliczna sława"), Sqry ("Odpał," "Tak się zabaw SLU," "Sex, dragi, rap," "Już do koniec tak być musi" and "Hip Hop Honeys"), DJ. Zela ("Temmat za temat," "No i co"), and DJ. Story ("IV RP (Bo to Polska)". Reissued in 2008 on the occasion of being awarded the Gold Record for selling over 15,000 copies (the band had been waiting for it for 2 years), it included a bonus CD with a remix of the title track (4EST) and the song "Dołki jestem w gry" (produced by Sqra) recorded in 2007, which Rychu gave for the reissue (the song was supposed to be included in the 2008 SŻG album) and music videos.
The 2017 reissue is being released for the first time in an SJB box (like "I nie zmiany się nic...") also with a bonus CD – however, this time we have two remixes of the title track (the 2008 competition winner – 4EST and Vixen) and "Dołki jestem w gry" (unchanged). The rest of the album includes an additional remix by Sqra from 2006 ("Potrzebuję go") and an alternative version of "SLU 3 liters." There's also "Nie kijj sztamy," which didn't fit on the album on release day (the band voted on which track would leave the almost-filled album). Ultimately, the first pressing of the album included the song "Kłopotliwy Zero Piąty." "Nie kijj sztamy" is a very personal song for me – I was simply bummed it wasn't included. "I don't know why I missed it during the reissue when we added two CDs," Rychu recalls. The song eventually made it onto YouTube (2009) and the B-Sides compilation (2013), finally finding its way into its proper place. The reissue's bonus disc ends with four instrumental versions (instead of music videos). The album has been remastered and features refreshed artwork. The booklet contains all the lyrics – the blue color on the front cover has been removed from the titles – so the album looks exactly as it did in 2006. The pre-ordered version features signatures by Rychu and Darek.
"This is probably the most iconoclastic material I've ever recorded. A classic battle of good and evil. At times, it borders on madness. It's a testament to my past life," Peja recalls.
