The debut album from Łódź-based band Pesante is a unique production combining the characteristic Łódź style with top-notch beats from Sherlock and guest verses from players such as Booryz, Joteste and Miuosh.

The Pesante project was founded in 2005 by two MCs, Maniak & Klasik. Both reside and work in Łódź. They are known for their collaborations with Zeus, Miuosh, and DJ Haem (OSTR), among others. Produced entirely by one of Poland's top producers, Sherlock, the album "Szablon" (Stamp) is a departure from the typical hip-hop productions (despite its title). Its interesting, even eclectic sound, excellent guest selection, and incredibly consistent quality throughout are the hallmarks of this debut, making it a source of envy even the most prominent representatives of Polish rap.
