Streams

Ladies and Gentlemen,
here before us is a record of a fragment of the world – the one that has passed away, leaving only memories, and the one that still endures, feeding on the past, but also looking towards what is to come.

Art, any kind, is the transformation of earthly matter into something far more perfect, something that allows us to break away from solid ground, to allow our dreams, memories, and desires to soar freely from what was to what is. We hope that "Streams" will draw you in deeply enough to make this elevating experience possible.

The album includes the following pieces: "Passacaglia per violino e organo," "Songs" (Nostalgia, In My Garden, Baroque Spring), "Sonata Libera," and "Flute Concerto." All compositions were written by Janusz Bielecki, arranged by Tadeusz Kassak and Ireneusz Boczek, and performed by Maria Perucka (violin) and Roman Perucki (organ). The flute parts were performed by Agata Kielar-Długosz and Łukasz Długosz. In the latter piece, the artists were accompanied by the W. Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic in Łomża, conducted by Jan Miłosz Zarzycki.

It is with great pleasure that we present this exceptional album to you. We hope that "Streams" / "Nurty" will serve as a musical filter, allowing us to see the complex beauty of both the world and humanity, the recognition and presentation of which is the true task of art.
