Johny Rockers Stay Connected

Johny Rockers was founded in 2014 in Warsaw by Johny, a music producer, composer, and vocalist. From the very beginning, the band played concerts, earning them recognition from Warsaw audiences. This inspired the musicians to tour the country, and in their first year, Johny Rockers achieved great success, winning first prize at the Orlen Marathon Jam Session. This gave them the opportunity to perform live in the Agnieszka Osiecka Concert Studio on Radio 3. A year later, they won a competition organized as part of the Reggaeland 2015 festival. Following this victory, the musicians focused their work on Roots Reggae – the most refined sound of this genre. Johny Rockers played numerous concerts at festivals such as Reggae Na Piaskach, Reggaeland, and the Ostróda Reggae Festival. They began making their debut on major stages, winning the approval of not only audiences but also reviewers and commentators. In 2016, Johnny Rockers focused on releasing their debut album. The message they wanted to share is full of sincere feelings – nostalgia, sadness, and pain, but also love, passion, and a sense of happiness. They aimed to create an essential, rootsy reggae sound, inspired by bands like Black Uhuru, The Wailers, and Steel Pulse.

The band has released several singles so far, including "Mama Africa," "Ain't Got No Home," and a cover of Black Uhuru's "Darkness." Their music videos have been met with positive feedback from reggae fans and listeners across Poland and have been shared and praised on Polish and international reggae portals, including Reggaeville.

Johnny Rockers' album, "Stay Connected," is a culmination of the journey they've traveled together. Their diligent work ultimately allowed them to complete the final mixes and vocal recordings at Studio As On, where, under the watchful eye of Mariusz Dziurawiec, Lena Romul-Markuszewska, and Jarek Smak, they completed the production of their debut album, Stay Connected.
The album was released in cooperation with the Lou & Rocked Boys publishing house.
