Kozak System is a band comprised of musicians previously associated with the well-known Polish band Haydamaky (Lenyo Ivan, Demianenko Oleksandr, Sherstiuk Volodymyr, Borysenko Sergiy, Soloviy Sergiy, and Charkin Aleksandr). In October 2012, KOZAK SYSTEM released their album "Shablia" in Ukraine, promoted by the single of the same name. Their sound combines Ukrainian-Balkan folk with punk rock and ska. The band's Cossack character is evident in their powerful lyrics and powerful energy.

Since 2001, Haydamaky has released five albums, the last three of which have been released and sold on the European music market. The last album before the band split into two separate lineups was a collaborative effort between two giants – the Ukrainian Haydamaky and the Polish Voo Voo. It received a gold record and a nomination for the 2010 Fryderyk Awards.
