Ricardo (Red Standard)

RPS Entertainment proudly presents Rycha Peja's 21st full-length album, Ricardo. Initially intended as a spring EP, preceding a full-length autumn album, the album's culmination didn't allow the Peja x Magiera duo to settle for a 30-minute album, and at some point, they decided to significantly extend it.

It all began with a collaboration with Poznań/Poland scene legend Don Guralesko. The two men last worked together nearly 15 years ago. The long-awaited moment to join forces again has arrived.
The result of the meeting is a strongly hip-hop (of course!) song called Flow Most Go On, referring to the most classic achievements of both artists.
After DGE, it's time for another technical master, undeniably VNM. "Droga Mistrza" ("The Way of the Master") sets a high bar for both the host and Peja's still-rapping peers. So, we're seeing progress. Like Nipsey, it's a mainstream vibe delivered over a pulsating beat infused with Sztoss's vocals. The whole thing sounds truly promising. The next announced guests are Simpson, who made his name on the track "Richtown," and John Mojo, whose chorus ties the whole thing together under the title "Target." Further proof that artists Ricardo hasn't worked with yet have a lot to offer him, as the track is truly solid. Speaking of guests, we should also mention the duo HAŁASTRA, who guested on "Jak płot" ("Like a Hammer") over Magiera's insanely frenetic beat. Peja's powerful, expressive rap in a more modern package is what the artist has been delivering for over two or three years.
Similarly, "Mindset" can be seen as a continuation of "Maybach," though not necessarily (the artist referenced it in the song). The album once again features international guests. The track "We'll All Die" features a representative of the Stockholm scene, Shazaam, known for his collaboration with Peja on the CNO2 album (Radio Free Europe), and Mexican artist Perro ZW. The latter significantly influences the song's atmosphere.
The first one makes us observe with pleasure how musical clichés, similarly to the case of rapper Clementiono, persist for years.
The album also features two distinguished figures from the Rych scene and one leading figure in the new school (tracks: "Smak życia" (Taste of Life), "Kierap" (Kierap), and "Dzień Sądowa" (Judgment Day)). We'll save these names for later, final announcements. The typically solo tracks "Przystań" (Haven) and "Pamiątłość" (Total Memory) deserve special mention.
The latter is a nod to the relaxing atmosphere of the previous albums, closing with Hiphopeja, Happy End or even Brick Phone Rap.
Ricardo is therefore a set of 15 premiere songs, which are not the last word from Rych and Tomek in 2021.
The album is available in two versions (red - store version and blue - preorder version extended with additional music).

The red version contains 14 tracks, excluding bonus tracks. The red version will be available in all music stores on the release date, May 21, 2021, but you can also pre-order it.

The blue version is a limited edition double album. The second disc traditionally features instrumental versions that fully deserve this type of release.
The musical quality is the perfect justification for this move. In addition to 14 new tracks, Disc 1 also features three bonus tracks, which we won't reveal at this time.
In addition, as usual, we have designed a special limited/numbered box for you, which, in addition to the double version of the album, includes the cassette edition, stickers, a silicone wristband, a lanyard, a commemorative hat, a certificate of authenticity with an autograph and a code to the RPS Klasyka store.

As part of the merch, we produced a limited edition Ricardo t-shirt.
