Retransmissions

The fourth album of the band Radio Bagdad entitled "Retransmisje" is a double-disc release containing the band's acoustic performance on Trójka and a compilation of songs from previous albums plus extras.

On May 17, 2015, Radio Bagdad, known primarily for its raw rock-punk sound, gave an hour-long concert on Radio Trójka, performing acoustic versions of their songs. Thanks to acoustic guitars and the addition of piano and viola, the group's music took on a more mellow, melodic character. The abandonment of garage "noise" reveals Radio Bagdad's songwriting leanings and foregrounds the lyrics written by frontman Sielak Siedlecki. The album is enriched by a compilation of Radio Bagdad songs, compiled by the label Lou & Rocked Boys. It will feature single versions of the songs, as well as songs that were not included on any of their previous albums.

The Radio Bagdad Trio is a force of energy, rhythm, and socially engaged lyrics. The band draws on British sounds, punk, rock 'n' roll, and indie. Their established motto—sparseness of form and maximum expression—is best demonstrated in concert. The group was formed in the spring of 2004 in Gdańsk. They have released four albums: "Słodkie Cocktaile Mołotowa" (Sweet Molotov Cocktails, 2007), "Kupując czarny" (Kuppy Black, 2009), "W Czekalni" (W Czekalni, 2014), and "Retransmisje" (Retransmisje, 2016), and have performed over 300 concerts. Current members: Sielak Siedlecki – vocals, guitar, lyrics; Krzysztof Dzik Lewandowski – bass, vocals, keyboards; Robert Jabłoński – drums.
