" First Record " is a train journey from Gdynia Główna to Warsaw Central Station via Oslo and Nowy Sącz. It's the story of a relationship, first a friendship, then a romantic one, doomed from the start, yet ending happily – each going their separate ways, rejoicing in the happiness of the other, a person once dear to them. Intermediate stops include stories about relationships with parents, the need for peace and quiet in an era of endless "to-do lists," and the encounter with a new, challenging environment.

The debut album by Nowy Sącz-born Ania Szlagowska was created in collaboration with the eminent Kuba Więcek, Mariusz Obijalski, ciiicho, Dawid Płonka, and Kuba Karaś, who also provided vocals. Classified as indie pop with folk and jazz influences, it's rich in unconventional harmonies, live instruments, and electronics. Represented by the chili pepper – a symbol of happiness but also a personal talisman. Steeped in Carpathian folklore, the artist's signature folk chants are deftly woven into her songs. A fusion of energy and solace, pop and jazz, Nowy Sącz charisma and maturity.
