Not at the cottage

At my house, I'm crazy about this band - my wife sings, my daughter dances, and they sold me on the song about cassettes, where the chorus goes something like this: "Stilons, Teddies, nineties, the beginnings of punk rock recorded on the radio."

I'll add that it's not punk rock, because the band's "hard roots" are undoubtedly reggae. However, without any orthodoxy (read: slander and wailing about Jah and Babylon) and with a lot of cool ideas and diverse influences: from roots reggae through raggamuffin, ska, dancehall, dub, calypso, rap, and ska-punk.

Surprised? For example, "Teatrzyk" clearly has the vibe of a ska-core Voo Dooo Glow Skulls. The album opener, "Agrorap," stands out for its catchiness – a first-rate dance hit. "Kasety" reigns supreme for me, and not just because of its funny lyrics. Besides, the other songs are light, joyful, unpretentious, and free from any haunting. Pure fun to the sunny rhythms of Greater Poland.
