Myslonur

Dethops is a band of six young musicians united by a shared passion for playing metal music in a thoughtful and highly individual way. On their debut album, "Myślonur," Dethops presents classic heavy metal sounds spiced up with a pinch of keyboards. Inspired by the entire spectrum of heavy metal, the band from the Beskid Mountains pays tribute to their musical heroes. Here, we hear both melodic and sharp vocals from the superbly sung lead singer, Dominik Bobek, seamlessly blending with rhythmic guitar riffs, virtuoso solos, and thought-provoking lyrics about what resides in the human mind, tangled by various disorders, tragedies, and near-death experiences. One of the lyrics, "Myślonur," is written by "Adaś," a reference to the cult classic "Day of the Wacko," is directed by Marek Koterski himself, a Polish film and theatre director, screenwriter, actor, poet, prose writer, and playwright. The whole piece is constructed in an engaging way, making it a compelling listen from A to Z, from the first note to the last.
