Shata QS Mr. Mankind

"Mr. ManKind" is an album that combines several musical genres, such as funk, reggae, and soul, with elements of electronica. The material is embellished with fantastic vocals and a very solidly embedded and excellent-sounding rhythm section. The whole thing conveys a unique message. As the name suggests, "Mr. ManKind" is an album dedicated to the human race and to man as a lost individual in a world of systems.

Each track is a manifestation of reflection, a search for truth, and solutions. "Mr. ManKind" is an album that took over a year to complete, during which the artists and musicians whose support and contributions informed the entire Shata QS project were meticulously selected. Dammy Bolarin, Naweed Ahmed, Łukasz Olejarczyk, and Piotr (kovias) Kowieski are just a few of the many contributors. The album was arranged and produced by Łukasz Damrych, a prominent Wrocław-based music producer, pianist, composer, and winner of the "Tukan" award for best musical arrangement at the 26th Stage Song Review.

Shata QS is an artist whose roots stretch not only to Poland but also to Asia and New York City. For many years active on the Polish and international music scenes, she boasts a solid collection of artistic achievements, including collaborations with numerous prominent international artists. She has released the single "You're Beautiful" and the EP "The Colors I Know." Her unique perspective on reality has a significant influence on her work and the themes of her songs. Despite her ties to the Rastafarian movement, her music lacks the heavy claws of reggae, but rather incorporates elements of funk, soul, and electronica. It's music embellished with fantastic vocals and a solidly grounded and superbly sounding rhythm section.
