You Can Do Anything (LP)

The chorus, "For these moments it's worth living..." from the song "PO CO?," instantly makes things better! So do "DO KOŃCA TAK," the riff-driven "MĘWIMY DOŚĆ," and "MOŻESZ WSZYSTKO" – the title track with a slightly funky drive and an energetic boost in the chorus. The music on this album is rooted in tradition, yet sounds very fresh and incredibly diverse. There's the deftly tailored pop rock "SEX CIGARETTE" with sensual lyrics by Staszek Głowacz, the beautiful cello ballad "TAJEMNICA," and the blues-tinged "JEJ CIEŃ" with lyrics by Bogdan Loebel. There are also two covers: "ZASARY GRY" by Tadeusz Nalepa with lyrics by Bogdan Loebel, and "WOKÓŁ SAMI LUNATYCY" by Dżem. In the latter case, instead of reggae, there's atmospheric music with elements of hard rock, which makes recording your own versions of well-known songs worthwhile. This vinyl is a rare find, thoroughly enjoyable and worth recommending.
