This is another installment in the critically acclaimed De Nekst Best Mixtape compilation, which the label launched almost six years ago. At the time, the ideology behind the album was to combine the so-called middle generation of rappers (VNM, Bisz, Te-Tris) with the younger generation (then Quebonafide, Sarius, AdMa) to reinterpret songs by older bands such as Molesta, Fenomen, ZIP Skład, etc. De Nekst Best Mixtape 2, in turn, represents a synergy of three generations of Polish rap across 14 tracks featuring over 60 artists. It's significant that in each track, the age difference between the youngest and oldest artist is approximately 20 years, and in one, it's as much as 32! De Nekst Best Mixtape 2 features seven old-school tracks produced by legends and seven tracks with a modern sound delivered by rising stars. It showcases the changes that have taken place in Polish rap over the past 25 years, encouraging older listeners to explore a fresh sound while showcasing the genre's roots to younger listeners. All the tracks on De Nekst Best Mixtape 2 are unique and unconventional combinations, guaranteeing an engaging journey through a variety of musical styles.
