" Medycyna Ostateczna " is the third album by the Sosnowiec-based band Natural Mystic, a record of their work from 2010-2013. Fans may have already heard some of the songs in concert, while others will undoubtedly be a pleasant surprise. It was recorded live at the Lubi Wąchać Winyl Studio in Warsaw, where the irreplaceable Mariusz Dziurex Dziurawiec Activator served as producer, also responsible for the album's mix and mastering alongside Smok. The album features 10 tracks, each with a style that's difficult to categorize – plenty of broken rhythms, a touch of dub-inspired space, and a punk energy with a touch of jazz. There are also subtle echoes of Nick Cave, Portishead, and Led Zeppelin. "Medycyna Ostalczna?" features a self-interpreted version of the song "Hard to Say" by Izrael, with guest appearances by Robert Brylewski and Włodzimierz Kinior. There are more guests – subtle string orchestrations were played by Ewa Wałecka from Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa, and crazy brass instruments, sometimes straight from the Balkans, appeared thanks to the brass section of the band Dubska. Once again, Naturale entered the studio only with acoustic instruments – two acoustic guitars in a vast panorama, a hard drum beat closer to the center with a soft low double bass, and around it an unpredictable accordion. Gabi and Kinek's vocals dominate everything. Kinek's lyrics oscillate on the borders of dream and reality, belligerent pathos and childish naivety, understanding and misunderstanding. They are an ambiguous riddle, the solution to which their author searches and learns along with the listener. They are very personal, but at the same time they try to capture something beyond individual "I". They illustrate the melodic mood that governs a given creative moment.
