"Katawce," Motława's first full-length album, is a true phonographic debut. It captures everything that characterizes the artists' musical beginnings: freshness, dynamism, and a lack of commercial overload caused by market pressure. The lyrics, written by vocalist Arek Królak, are the result of years of observing Gdańsk's Długa Street, where the band still performs regularly. There are also two covers – Motława has taken on the work of Polish music legends:

Paktofonika and Pidżama Porno, setting the bar high. One thing is certain: Latawce will always be the first album from a band that will hopefully soon find its strong foothold in the Polish music market.
