Kovalczyk Big Band Project

The analog-recorded album, "KOVALCZYK BIG BAND PROJECT," was hailed as the most anticipated album of 2013. This was not only due to the energetic single "Raise Me Up," which promoted the release, but also to the production style and the participation of top Polish musicians: Marek Napiórkowski, Robert Kubiszyn, Robert Luty, and Paweł Tomaszewski. Kovalczyk produced, wrote the music, and wrote the lyrics. Jarosław Regulski handled the sound design.
The music on this album is very contemporary, yet it's a great nod to tradition! The material was played entirely live and recorded on analog tape. This recording method guarantees listeners an emotional return to the unique sound of vinyl records. The album combines the magnificent sounds of the Big Bands of the late 1950s and early 1960s, which inspired the artist, with the modern sounds of funky, jazz, and pop! After a great reception in Poland, the album sparked interest in many countries, including Japan.
