On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of my artistic work, I present to you "Kołowrotek", which is probably my last album
Of course, I will still play concerts, compose and record songs for other artists, but due to
Due to the huge number of different activities, I won't have time to create my next author's albums. For this reason,
I decided that "Kołowrotek" would be different from the albums I had recorded so far. I recorded each song in the form in which
would be performed by a group of up to five people (excluding the choral parts). The songs are definitely calmer and not
have the hallmarks of so-called "modernity". The textual content of each piece was influenced by a specific
subject matter. Stasio Głowacz, who is a master in the field of guessing intentions, using
a vast resource of words, metaphors, and imagination, he fulfilled my expectations remarkably. Thank you, Staszek!
I decided to share various thoughts (1, 5, 8, 11, 13), experiences from my life (2, 3, 10, 14, 15)
and a fictitious dream ( 6 ). For the first time in my life, I dedicated two songs to my wife ( 7, 12 ) and one song to my daughters and
grandchildren ( 4 ). I also recorded a slightly late conversation with my mom ( 9 ). And at the end ( 16 ) "I don't give a damn about anything" :)
So, I invite you to the world of my musical imagination!
