His fourth studio album, Slums Attack (Camey Studio 2000), returns in an expanded and digitally enhanced version. The story of this album spans one of the darkest periods of Rych's adult life. From artistic poverty, through police arrests, to living on the edge in search of bread, not necessarily in the most honest form. "I nie zmiany nie nic..." (And Nothing Changes...) marks the end of his collaboration with Camey Studio. The album was recorded under difficult conditions, and there was a lack of focus and communication between the publisher and the artists. Peja himself did not participate in the re-recording sessions, wanting to quickly finish the album he initially wanted. This is probably the only time Rychu wanted to quit rap. However, the album was released, and despite some audible flaws in the mixing, arrangements, and some of the vocals, it gained fans' appreciation. The album contains classics such as the title track "I nie zmiany nie nic..." (And Nothing Changes...), "Dotknij gdzie chce" (Touch Where You Want), "Wiwiady swoim" (They Seen Their Own), and even "Nie losm my życie" (I Will Not Lose My Life). The grimy atmosphere of sampled vinyl is the perfect backdrop for the Poznań rapper's uncompromising riffs. Peja himself, years later, admits to a fondness for this production, but he can't accept the flaws, including the lack of an experienced producer. The album was reissued without the band's knowledge in 2004 as a disastrous 2-CD compilation, along with the album "Całkiem Nowe Twarze" (Camey Studio). A 2010 reissue in its original form (Fonografika) also dissatisfied Peja. "Bad artwork and sound, an old, classic box—it all looks exactly like it did 10 years ago. This is the only reissue I haven't handled," he explains. Today, for the first time, we can mention a proper reissue. In addition to the remastering by Cichy (the songs sound coherent and pleasant to the ear), we get a bonus CD with two remixes of the tracks "I nie zmiany nie…" and "Czujesz to (Fatum)" by Magiera. The second track is titled "I'm Coming in Once (Can You Feel The Vibe)" and features guest vocals from Hellfield (Crack House, Nekromer) in place of the scratchy chorus. This track sounds very fresh. The track "Znikający Punkt" appears on the album for the first time – the vocals were recorded in Decks's old apartment, which served as a starting point for La Bomba Studio. For producers, we also provide the original acapella version of the title track plus five instrumental versions. The album features expanded artwork, including all the lyrics and photos from the album session by Zygmunt Gajewski. The album is being released for the first time in an SJB box set.
"If you've lost your first edition or share the same opinion about the previous reissues, check out this release because I've done my best in every way. Changing distributors is a great opportunity to improve this production in every way (laughs)," adds Rychu.
