Fightclub

Fight Club is a concept album that forms a cohesive whole. It features 10 tracks, including a cover of Maanam's "Szare miraże" in an old-school, QOTSA-esque version. Released in 2011 by Wrocław-based label Lou & Rocked Boys. The band was formed in Silesia in 2008 by Szymon Poloka and Krzysztof Chłopek. Brothers Tomek and Michał, along with Colombian Carlos, joined the lineup, ready for anything. Their previous experience includes hundreds of concerts, not only in small clubs but also on large stages – including supporting acts like Pearl Jam, and touring with pillars of the Polish rock scene like Hej, Coma, and KSU. The Marians return with the second installment of their trilogy, "Fight Club." The album is much more mature than their debut. It features a carefully crafted and carefully considered sound with a powerful kick and the Marians' signature lyrics. The album's themes echo the iconic film "Fight Club," telling the stories of people in constant conflict between being themselves and fulfilling their dreams, and the pressure to play social roles.
