Feelings

" Feelings " positively surprises with its solidity. This applies both to the refined compositions and arrangements, and to the guitarist's playing – her solos are melodic, fluid, dynamically and sonically balanced, free from empty virtuosity, and technically perfect.

Krzysia Górniak is "the most interesting jazz guitarist in Poland" (JAZZ Forum 7-8/2006 p. 27). She plays electric guitar, is a composer, producer, and arranger. A graduate of the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Austria, in jazz guitar. She has participated in lessons and workshops with musicians such as Wayne Brasel, Wynton Marsalis, Mike Stern, Karl Ratzer, Susanne Weinert, John Abercrombie, Christian Rover, Garison Fewell, Bob Mintzer, Ron McClure, Billy Hart, Adam Nussbaum, Clarke Fischer, and Alan Jones.

Since returning to Poland, she has released four albums, which she composed, arranged, and produced. Krzysia Górniak has played in numerous jazz clubs in Poland and Europe (including Porgy & Bess in Vienna, M59 in Graz, Miles, House of Jazz, Stockwerk, Między Nami in Berlin), and has participated in several concert tours in Greece. Currently he participates in many projects (cooperation with: Evangelos Tzimkas - bass guitar (Greece), Łukasz Makowski - double bass, Wojciech Goglewski - piano, Adam Lewandowski - drums, Zdzisław Kalinowski - piano, Michał Grott - bass guitar, Filip Sojka - bass guitar, Arek Nawrocki - piano, Przemek Knopik - drums, Krzysztof Scierański - bass guitar, Wojtek Pilichowski - bass guitar, Piotrek Remiszewski - drums, Kuba Badach - vocals).
