Dusza Emotional War

The third album of Tarnobrzeg's Dusza: this is how reggae is played now!

The origins of the band "Dusza" date back to the mid-1990s, when a group of young people from Tarnobrzeg met in a local garage. It was then that the first lineup was formed and the band's name was born. After two years of playing together under the name "Dusza," they managed to record their first material, which was released by the independent label "Kornicore."

This release received positive reviews from music magazines such as "Tylko Rock" and "Brum." The band toured extensively, and during breaks, they wrote new material, which was released in 1997 under the title "Światło i cieni" (Light and Shadow) by the "Never Ending Greed" label. This material gained considerable popularity among reggae fans across Poland, resulting in numerous concerts and strengthening the band's position on the national scene. Furthermore, "Dusza" played as a support act for numerous bands, both domestic and international, including Hey, Golden Life, Kasia Kowalska, Ankh, Pidżama Porno, Perfect, Tumbaoo, and Zion Train. During this time, material for a new album was also being written. The compositions on the band's new album, "Emotional War," reflect the band's diverse musical interests. The new album features the powerful beats of Jamaican reggae, rock, and even jazzy influences. It's difficult to discuss the band's musical inspirations, as their music stems from a combination of the individual expression and individualism of each member. Lyrically, the band explores themes of freedom, love, politics, and faith.
