The release of SLUMS ATTACK's latest album – depeche_mood (06/12/24) is a fact! After a 12-year hiatus, Decks and Rychu have once again decided to team up and cook up something particularly important for many Polish rap listeners. The album features a lot of classics sprinkled with scratches and, above all, a large number of classic verses, often extending beyond 16 lines. If you're expecting familiar and trendy nicknames on his features, we can't guarantee it. Rychu is a chatterbox and reluctant to share most of the material. However, what he left for the guests should satisfy you. As the gentlemen describe it as a family album. So, on the track "City Break" (still_on_tour), we get a verse from Gandi Gandy. Meanwhile, the previously announced track "Mother Earth" will be stylistically enriched by the dude Bas Tajpan. We won't reveal anything more at this time. The album contains very dynamic tracks: "Risk," "No Changes in the West," and "Don't Lose Your Fighting Spirit," which is considered the second part of the "Duty Strong." Reflective moments include "Na swoim," the hardcore "Dirty Flota," and even "Basement jak '94." Noteworthy tracks include "Zwykły Chłopak," "Zborn z chaosu," and "Droga Mistrza 2." That's all for now. The pre-order version, unlike the retail version, will include additional tracks, a bonus CD with instrumentals, and enhanced artwork. For the pickiest listeners, we've prepared a box set containing only the music in the form of two CDs, a cassette, and a vinyl. For gadget collectors, we have boxes with music, gadgets, and apparel. In short, there's something for everyone, and the album itself will be nothing short of high-quality music based on the traditional solutions and experiences of Slums Attack. The gentlemen, who have been working solo for several years, have managed to find common ground by taking on the challenge of doing something back in the good old style, and the art of compromise and mutual respect is palpable here. After all, the reflections, ideas and themes for music and lyrics have been maturing for several years.
