Can We Fix The World?

The Sixpounder is a groove metal band from Wrocław, formed in 2006. For the first two years, the band's founders, Paweł Ostrowski and Filip Sałapa, composed material and searched for suitable musicians to play and collaborate with. In 2008, the band began touring with its full lineup. In addition to performing at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Przystanek Woodstock, the band has toured with bands such as Vader and Acid Drinkers, shared the stage with Behemoth, Decapitated, Soilwork, and Parkway Drive, and opened for Motörhead. In 2014, the band reached the semi-finals of the 7th edition of Must Be the Music. The film Exterminator is released on January 5, 2018, for which the band composed three songs ("Time to Kill," "It's Time to Kill," and "Figure It Out"), including "Time to Kill," the film's theme song.

The production of the album 'Can We Fix The World?' is another example of a proficient and focused approach to creation; both the mixing and mastering are another source of pride for the musicians of The Sixpounder. The excellent video for "Burn Like Sun," featuring guest appearances, is also a bull's-eye. The tour throughout Poland gathered a large number of fans at venues both small and large, who confirmed with their presence that the band has composed an excellent album. The album contains 10 compositions, each of which could have been a single and a hit. It's a very well-balanced set of songs that are a pleasure to listen to. Unfortunately, this album marks the end of a certain period in The Sixpounder's career. The band has decided to go on hiatus. After five albums and hundreds of concerts, The Sixpounder played their final concert at Warsaw's VooDoo Club to a packed house.
