Sajgon was a punk band formed in Wałbrzych in 1988, featuring Sławek Trocha on guitar, vocals, music, and lyrics; Marek Niziński on bass guitar, vocals; and Grzegorz Kowalski on drums. This lineup continued until 1994, when they debuted at the Jarocin Festival. During this time, the band managed to record several sessions and play a number of concerts, resulting in the 1993 cassette "Balanga." That same year, live recordings from a concert in Wałbrzych were also recorded; the cassette was titled "Cały Ten Świat." A year later, Sajgon released their first CD, "Sajgolandia," one of the tracks from which became the theme song for Jurek Owsiak's show "Dziura w Koszu." Sajgon's songs have appeared on numerous compilations. However, 1994 brought an unexpected split in the band, which resulted in 13 years of stagnation. In 2007, Sajgon was reunited, with only vocalist Sławek Trocha remaining from the original lineup. The band is now a four-piece. Currently, Sajgon performs on many stages in Poland and is regularly invited to various festivals, such as "Rockowisko Hajnówka," "Ramona Fest," "ŁapPunka," from which a vinyl album was released, and "Jzerbejdżan Eko Fest." The current lineup is: Sławek "Sajgon" Trocha - guitar, vocals; Kamil "Doncio" Raróg - bass; Kamil "Lisu" Lisowski - drums.
