Awakening

Angels' Rebellion was formed in 2019 by guitarist Grimond (Tomasz Rzońca) and vocalist Paola Dark (Paulina Jeziorska). They decided to create a band that would play metal music, but utilize instruments unusual for this genre. In addition to instruments such as electric guitars, bass guitar, and drums, they decided to incorporate cellos, which were connected to guitar amplifiers, helping to achieve the metal sound of these classic instruments.

After a long search for musicians willing to create such an experimental project, the band finally assembled a full lineup. One of the band's string instruments is the cello, and the other is a baroque instrument similar to the cello – the viola da gamba. The band also expanded its lineup with a second vocalist, this time male. After briefly working with two drummers, the musicians of Angels' Rebellion decided to use electronic drums composed from computer samples in their songs, giving their work an even more unique character. Angels' Rebellion has currently completed recording their first studio album. Music videos are also in the works. After the album's release, the band plans to focus on promoting their music primarily online, with the first live performances to follow.

Angels' Rebellion's music is quite diverse, but certainly blends genres such as heavy metal, gothic metal, death metal, and cello metal (Apocalyptica). Through the unusual use of cello and viola da gamba, and combining their sound with metal electric guitars, a powerful rhythm section, electronic drum samples, and a vocal duo, the musicians of Angels' Rebellion have managed to create their own distinctive sound.
