SACRAMENT – a legend of the metal scene from Gorlice.

SACRAMENT is a nod to the 1980s and the golden age of heavy metal – a classic with a modern twist. Inspired by the legends of that decade, they create music brimming with power, passion, and memorable riffs.

The band formed in 1988 in Gorlice, fascinated by its heavy yet melodic sound. Sacrament toured and participated in numerous festivals, but after a short time, they went on hiatus.

In 2022, the musicians took up their instruments again. In 2023, they performed at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Biecz, bringing the energy and power of classic heavy metal with a modern twist. Following the enthusiastic reception, further concert offers poured in.

They played, among others, during the 2023 Gorlice Days with guest appearances by Titus of Acid Drinkers and Grzegorz Kurowski (Kurovsky), also sharing the stage with the legendary KSU. They also performed as special guests for CETI and Grzegorz Kupczyk at Warsaw's Progresja club. In 2024, during the Gorlice Days, they shared the stage with CETI and ARMIA.

They have performed at events such as the Moto Rock Festival, Rock Staw Festival, 2 Wiosna Motocykliczna in Nowy Sącz, Metal Vulture vol. 6 at the Semafor club in Skarżysko-Kamienna, and Metalowe Mikołajki at the Granary of Polish Rock in Jarocin. In early 2024, they performed at the Rock Klub Iron in Krosno with TSA MNKWL, returning later that year with The Legacy.

APOKALIPSA is a series of concerts and an original name created by Sacrament. The band is its sole creator and owner, and the project was created to promote their album of the same name.
In June 2025, the album "Apokalipsa" was released by Case Studio from Aleksandrów Łódzki.

The band is not slowing down and is working intensively on new material.
