Gruby Mielzky's album, "1.5," is an unusual one. It serves as a kind of bridge between his first album, "Silny Jak Nigdy Wkurzwiony Jak Uslugi" (Strong As Never, Pissed Off As Usual), and the upcoming material. It was recorded at Selekta Studio in Gdańsk under the watchful eye of Przemek Popławski, from the moment "Silny Jak Nigdy Wkurzwiony Jak Uslugi" was released, spanning nearly a year of tours and concerts across Poland, and was created on the spur of the moment.

While most of the scene flocks to new trends, completely changing their previous style as a result, Mielzky stands firm: scratches and cuts flow thickly, powerful and dirty beats get your head spinning, and lyrics that lash out at those who deserve it. Powerful, slow-moving drums and characteristic crackling samples that build atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop for Gruby's reflections. This isn't an easy album. It's not a trendy album.

The Returners once again handled most of the album's production, with Tricity beatmaker Bodziers ("No Rap") also contributing a beat. The album features only one guest: Pezet, who was supposed to appear on Mielzky's previous album. Tired of "classic" rap? You've come to the wrong place.
