The sounds cultivated by DGN are difficult to clearly classify. The Olkusz band remains faithful to the tradition of old-school Polish punk rock, but successfully enriches it with rootsy rock 'n' roll rhythms and even noise or progressive arrangements. Punk, as performed by DGN, remains a music of resistance. \"It's hard for me to agree with the modern way of life or accept certain behaviors,\" says Maciek, who is responsible for the lyrics. \"I guess you could talk about a certain alienation.\"\u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003eThe culmination of DGN's first phase of activity was the album \"Do Góry Nogami,\" self-produced and released in 2016. The album received media attention, and the band began touring even more intensively. To date, they have performed dozens of times, including with bands like Inkwizycja, Kryzys, KSU, Kult, and Prawda. \"The essence of rock 'n' roll is the concerts,\" Fert declares. \"That's where the greatest energy, dormant within the band, is unleashed.\"\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e After a second guitarist joined DGN in November 2017, the music gained weight, while also opening up more space and room for further experimentation. The result can be heard soon – on their second album, \"Ultra,\" which will be released via Lou \u0026amp; Rocked Boys.\u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003e\"DGN takes up most of my life, my thoughts and my time,\" says the band's bassist. \"I don't think anything attracts me as much as music - creating it and playing it.
