They played together in other Polish bands in the 1990s.\u003cbr\u003e Upiór has so far self-released the single \"Reality 2020\" (2020), followed by the EP \"Where Dead Angels Lie\" (2021), with a Dissection cover of the same title.\u003cbr\u003e The first full-length album \"The Forest That Grieves\" was released on March 21, 2022, mixed and mastered at Nostromo Studio – Music Production.  \u003cbr\u003eThe album comprises seven tracks interspersed with keyboard intros. The music combines melodic, fast, and powerful riffs with numerous drum blasts and slower, almost progressive parts supported by powerful orchestrations.\u003cbr\u003e Influences beyond metal are evident. From the very first seconds, \"Haunting Memories\" hits the listener with a very fast riff, followed by \"Dagon Sleeps,\" with its fast drumming and melodic riffs, reminiscent of the best black metal.\u003cbr\u003e But there are many influences from other genres, where, for example, the fast, powerful riffs of \"Project Maruta\" give way after a while to make room for a jazz section and a solo.\u003cbr\u003e Upiór doesn't try to follow any particular pattern.
